This photo depicts an intense struggle to break free of a seemingly asphyxiating situation: a job, addiction, health issue, relationship etc. On the outside is a bright, almost blinding light showing a clear path to escape but the stretching of the rocks, pulled taught over a face by invisible fingers, seems to make freedom an impossibility.
