Reference photos for this series of Chinese Village People were taken in the Yunnan Province in Western China near the city of Dali.

Sharon was a member of the Northwest Watercolor Society and a juried member of the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society. Her watercolors have won awards in National and local competitions. Sharon�s paintings hang in public buildings in Washington State as well as hotels in Alaska. I look for unique patterns within small areas of nature and try to emphasize them.
