Artist's Description
A few years ago, I went to my first Civil War Reenactment and was swept into the past.
I had no idea that these reenactors went into such detail when putting together these events. I was fascinated by the camps and the fact that even thier children dressed the part.
I am now working in a series of paintings that are inspired by the reenactments I have been able to attend.
About Linda Eades Blackburn
Linda was born in Nashville, Tennessee where she grew up and went to art school. Her career has included both Commercial and Fine Art. Linda has lived in Florida for the past 30 years and is currently working and exhibiting in her Studio in Ocala, Florida. Linda accepts Portrait commissions for both people and pets and also paints abstracts, local landscapes and wildlife. Her usual mediums include Oil, watercolor, pastel and pencil.
