Description
Coyotes have long been one of my favorite animals. In Native American mythology, Coyote may be a trickster or a teacher, lazy or revered, crafty or mischievous. I think we can see ourselves reflected in the many facets of his personality. When you watch one in the wild or hear their soulful howl on a starry night, you can come to see how Coyote became so central in the legends of Native Americans and of Western folklore. For me, Coyote is among the most handsome and intelligent of all canines and we are the lucky that he survives and thrives despite years of persecution.
