#060914-A, "Storyteller Drama" 8 x 8 piece of collage art with a 2� white mat to the final size of 12 x 12 ready for you to slide into a nice 12 x 12 frame.
Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, stained tissue paper, painted newsprint, image transfer gesture, painted drawing paper and acrylics, wax pastel crayons, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.
Meaning behind the art: So many great books and articles in the magazines to hold in your hands, the smell of the paper to the texture of each page. I wish I was a speed reader, but I�m not�in fact a very confused reader at that but I don�t let it stop me�I just wish I could read more. So my remedy for that is books on CD�s. I like to listen to them while I�m in the studio. Also I�m using the paper that I made in my class Monday�simple paper that it is, (how to) started with the Sunday�s paper and all the extra paint from other papers that I made and then before I know it I�ve got some great drama in color and texture�funny thing is I know it�s there but it�s not seen so easily seen by the all of you. Kind of makes it special to me, it also becomes the starting off point for the whole piece, �My palette starter� I say.
