Description
Painted in 1929. Red mesa to the left known as Cowboy Bluff, looking South down a road leading into the desert, near Fredonia, Arizona. The town is in the distant background. A storm is approaching from the left with a rainbow. Fredonia is near Kanab, Utah in Northern Arizona and is the little green oasis that the dirt road leads to. There were often movies made in this area. Many different movie companies came here. It is a western gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
